Eng. Abdullah Saif Al-Saadoon
Eng. Abdullah Saif Al-Saadoon
Eng. Abdullah Saif Al-Saadoon is the Chief Executive Officer of Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem). He is an industry veteran and accomplished business leader with more than 35 years of experience. Since joining Sipchem in 2001 as President, Operations and Manufacturing, Mr. Al-Saadoon has been a part of the company’s growth and evolution over the past two decades. He rose through the ranks holding progressive responsibilities in various positions including the President, Operations and Manufacturing.
Eng. Al-Saadoon joined Sipchem from SABIC, where he held several leadership positions. Previously and following the completion of his graduation, he worked with the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC).
Eng. Al-Saadoon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
Eng. Mater Al-Dhafeeri

Eng. Mater A. Al-Dhafeeri is the Vice President of Commercial Where he leads the company growth & Business development, Sales, Marketing, Customer Services, Value Chain Planning, Logistics & Product handling, Compliance & Product Stewardship, Research & Development, and Digital Transformation & Innovation.
Prior to joining Sipchem, Mr Al-Dhafeeri worked at Saudi Aramco for more than a decade where he gained deep knowledge in Oil and Gas processing. He held number of technical positions at Saudi Aramco including Process Engineer, Project/Construction Engineer, Senior Process Engineer, and Lead Operations/Production Engineer.
Eng. Mater Al-Dhafeeri holds a master’s degree in Natural Gas Engineering and Management from the University of Oklahoma, USA in 2001, and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tulsa, USA, in 1995. He also is an Alumni of both Kellogg’s School of Management and Harvard Business School after completing extensive Executive Education Programs in 2010 and 2015, respectively.
Eng. Ibrahim Al-Rushoud

Eng. Ibrahim joined Sipchem 19 years ago as an Engineering and Technical Services Manager then later served the company as a General Manager with various roles in Major Projects, Operations, Maintenance, Reliability Engineering and Lab. In 2017 he has been assigned as Vice President Operations. In the year 2018 in addition to VP Operations he has been appointed as President Affiliates. Currently he is holding the position of Vice President of Manufacturing and the President of Affiliates at Sipchem. Responsible for managing and leading the entire Sipchem Manufacturing which comprises Responsible Care & Industrial Security, overall Operations of 12 Plants, Maintenance, Technical, Reliability, Process Engineering, Sustainability, Manufacturing Excellence and the Major Projects.
Before joining Sipchem, Eng. Ibrahim worked for 11 years in the Saudi Aramco Company at Berri Gas Plant Department (BGPD), Consulting Executive Management | Sipchem Service Department and Saudi Aramco project management team.
Eng. Ibrahim completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the KFUPM University in the year 1994.
Eng. Omar Bahobail

Eng. Bahobail started his career at Sabic in 1991 after graduating Applied Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). He then joined Sahara Petrochemical Company in 2004 during green field project phase of Al-Waha plant. Engr. Omar was then promoted to Al-Waha CEO & President. Later, Engr. Bahobail moved to Sahara Corporate, where he eventually became VP of Shared Services.
In the process of the merger between Sipchem and Sahara, Eng. Bahobail was appointed as VP of the Integration Management Office (IMO) in December 2018, playing a key role towards the one Sipchem and delivering beyond the intended merger set value.
Eng. Bahobail also holds an MBA degree from Hult International Schools.
Mr. Rushdi Al-Dulaijan
Mr. Rushdi Al-Dulaijan
Mr. Rushdi Al-Dulaijan is Vice President of Finance at Sipchem. He joined Sahara Petrochemicals Company as CFO in 2011 and was responsible for managing the Finance and IT departments, as well as representing the company as a Board Member in several of its affiliates. Mr. Al-Dulaijan played a major role in Sipchem’s merger, both as the project manager from Sahara’s side and as the Sahara M&A Committee Secretary. In addition, he managed multiple critical projects relating to finance, restructuring, and optimization within the organization.
Prior to joining Sipchem, Mr. Al-Dulaijan started his professional career with Saudi Electricity Company in the role of Controller, before progressing to become manager of the company’s Finance Systems Division.
Mr. Al-Dulaijan obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1995.
